Hey Everyone! For all you Irish/Irish-American folks out there I wanna wish you a Happy St. Patrick's Day! I don't mean any disrespect here, but I'm not quite sure what this holiday is all about. I'm assuming that there was a saint named Patrick and he did some good stuff somewhere in Ireland? Am I close? All I know is that here in NYC it's just an excuse for everyone, Irish or not, to wear green, get really drunk, and cause a ruckus out on the streets. Nothing wrong with that, I love a good party! And even though I'm not Irish I always make sure to wear green, not just so I don't get pinched but because I love the color green! Some of my favorite things in the world are green, check it out: I have a huge crush on Kermit The Frog. He's adorable, he's charming and he's a lovely shade of green - what's not to love? Money is green and I loooooooooove me some money! Trees are just the best. I'm a New Yorker now but a Pacific Northwesterner at heart and there's nothing better than being out there among those green trees. Mmmmmmm......kiwis......so green and tasty and delicious! And finally, no list of favorites would be complete without my number one guy, Aziz Ansari. Maybe you don't normally think Aziz when talking about St. Patrick's Day or things that are green, but now you will! Hahahaha! Have a great week everyone!

Hey Everyone! Wow, I can't believe it's already New Year's Eve. These past couple of days have been bittersweet because 2013 was so good to me, but I'm super excited to see what 2014 has in store! Being a performer isn't the easiest thing in the world and I feel so lucky that I was able to do what I love and work with fun, fabulous people along the way. And doing this blog has brought me so much joy on top of all of that! Here are a few highlights from this past year: That last one didn't happen, it was just in my dreams of course, but hey, maybe in 2014 I'll make it a reality! Aziz, if you're reading this: call me! Hahahahaha! Thank you so much to all of you who have stopped by to take a look at a day in the life of Apples The Mule. I appreciate the support so very much and I promise ya I'll keep it coming in 2014! Happy New Year!!!
Hey there everyone, did you miss me? I had a totally fab vacation and I'm so excited to share my adventures with you all! Today I'm going to show you some photos from the LA portion of my trip. I think I mentioned before that I had a couple business meetings set up in LA, (which went great by the way - hooves crossed!!) but I also had plenty of time to sight see, and I made sure to see all the big tourist spots. Here I am next to Kermit the Frog's star on the walk of fame..... Then I just had to put my hooves in Marilyn's handprints at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.... I went shopping on Rodeo Drive..... and to the Griffith Park Observatory..... Then went down to Santa Monica and went on some rides at the famous Santa Monica Pier. And of course no trip to LA is complete without seeing the Hollywood sign..... What an amazing time I had! Thank you so much to Amanda for showing me (and of course Junes and Brian) around! We had the best vacation and can't wait to come back! Hope you all enjoyed my photos, see y'all soon!
Hey Guys! So this week all I can think about is the fact that I'm going on on vacation on Friday! Woo hoo! Junes and Brian and I are going to Los Angeles, where they'll be visiting some friends and I have some business meetings set up, and then we'll be heading up to the Oregon coast to visit family. I can't wait, it has been too long since this mule has had a vacation! Since all I can do is think about my trip, here's a little slide show of things I'm looking forward to seeing in LA and Oregon. |
